1. Koupit si lístky do budova od Gaudího Sagrada Familia, Casa Battlo nebo Parc Guell předem. Na místě čekáte dlouhé fronty (záleží na ročním období) nebo se dovnitř, jako v případě Sagrady vůbec nedostanete, lístky mohou byý na celý den již předem vyprodané.
2. Placa Espanya - náměstí pod kopcem, na kterém se nachází Museum, po cestě k němu minete magickou fontánu Font Magica, znovupostavený tzv. Barcelona Pavilon od architekta Mies van der Rohe - El Pabellón de Barcelona a nahoře vás čeká krásný výhled směrem do vnitrozemí.
3. Určitě strávení času na pláži, kde můžete pozorovat, jak si svého města užívají místní.
4. Zkuste churros - fritované těsto, které se namáčí do horké tmavé čokolády, španělskou paelu, jídlo z trhů a burgry v restauraci Bacoa.
5. Vstaňte brzy, chcete-li navštívit trh La Boqueria. Najdete zde čerstvé suroviny, ovocné šťávy za euro, či stánkové restaurace, které připravují jídlo před vašimi zraky.
6. Museu Picasso, muzeum, které obsahuje sbírku Picassových děl, a to i z jeho rané tvorby.

1. Park Guell - je opravdu nabitý turisty a pouličními prodavači. Příroda tam není moc k obdivování, vyschlé rostliny střídaní přelité kýčovitě zelené trávníky a celý výjev působí nepřirozeně. Architektura od Gaudího zde je zajímavá, opět se ale musí, jako do jeho ostatních staveb, platit vstup. A ten je tu, když zvážíte cenu a to co vydíte, nepřiměřeně vysoký. Výhled na město je pěkný, počtet turistů, funících vám na krk vám ho ale znepříjemní.
2. Čekání dlouhou dobu na turistické atrakce, v čele se stavbami od Gaudího. Vyplatí se koupit si lístky předem.
3. Chodit pěšky - metro není drahé a ušetří vám energii za chození.

2. Placa Espanya - at this place you can find the Museums, Font Magica, El Pabellón de Barcelona built by Mies van der Rohe, nice park and nice view.
3. Spend some time on the beach.
4. Try churros, paela, food from markets, burgers in Bacoa.
5. Get up early for La Boqueria.

1. Park Guell - it was too crowdy and there are a lot of better places in Barcelon where you can have nice view all over the city than that.
2. Waiting a lot of time for turistic atractions.
3. Walk long distances, the metro is perfect for transport. 

Strávili jsme v Barceloné šest dní procházením města, navštěvováním architektury a poleháváním na pláži. Barcelona je poslední dobou velice populární, celý rok je v tomto městě mnoho turistů, kteří se kumulují hlavně na místě atrakcí a v hlavním ulicích tohoto rušného města.

Na cestě ke Casa Milá, první stavb

We spent six days in Barcelona, visiting architecture and staying at the sea. Nowadays Barcelona is very popular and there are so many tourists at the spots. Altough it was september. 

On the way to Casa Milá we found the Café di Francesco, really nice café which wasn't really expensive. You can get coffee for normal price, just when you sit on the terasse, you will have to pay around 15% more. This Café is situated on the Passeig de Gracia street, the street with a lot of buildings built in the modernismo style. In this style is also build the Casa Milá from Antoni Gaudí.

I would recommend to visit Casa Milá (Casa Prendrera, Passeig de Gracia). You get audio guide for free and start the tour on the top of the building - on the roof. In the audioguide you hear about the architect Gaudí, how he built Casa Milá and which techniques he invented. On the roof there this really nice view and we spend around 30 minutes there. The whole building took us about 2 hours.

I actually also wanted to visit Casa Batlló, but there were so many tourist and the building has not so interesting architecture as Casa Milá has. To wait there would have took us about 2 hours, for Casa Milá we waited just 20 minutes. Walk down the Passeig de Gracia and have a look on Casa Batlló from the outside. Next to the Batlló there are also another modernisme buildings.

La Boqueria is a big food market. You can buy smoothies for 1€, fresh fruit and vegetables and lot of kinds of pastry. It is really busy every day so it is good to get up early for this. Another nice food market we visited was Mercado de Santa Caterina (Av. de Francesc Cambó 16).

What I wouldn't recommend is the Park Güell. You can find a lot of another places with nice view. This park is full of tourists and people selling things. The nature is not really nice and the area with the famous sculptures from Gaudí is closed and you have to pay around 10€ for entrance. This area is really small and you can sea the sculpture on every postcard from Barcelona.

 

For Sagrada Familia, the most famous building in Barcelona, you have to buy tickets online and in advance. The first time we came to this cathedral we didn't know this and we had to come back int two days with our tickets on smartphones. When you finally get in, you can spend more than an hour watching the light construction and colourful mosaic.

The best place to have a lunch is Bacoa. They sell here the best burgers and use local food. The concept of the store is really nice, the staff friendly. You fill in a card which sort of meat you would like to have, which bun and which type of burger. Than you wait in the pretty designed interier until the burger comes to you. Alioli is my tipp - a mayo sauce made of baked garlic. You can choose between the Little Bacoa (photo bellow), which is situated on the other side of food market Santa Caterina od Bacoa Ferran in the Carrer de Ferran street. We've been there threetimes during our stay in Barcelona!

Try churros - sweet pastery with hot chocolate. We got it in Xocolateria. It was nice café but the staff wasn't really friendly.
