Budapest

Budapest. I couldn't imagine how beautiful this city is! Big market, cozy cafés, imposant buildings, the famous parliament building, the river Danube in the middle of all.

The city market where you can find fresh fruit and vegetables and a lot of peppers. Just have a walk there and pick up some food for your lunch. Opening hours 6:00-17:00/18:00, sunday closed. Batthyány Square Market Hall, Batthyány tér 5.

Synagogue, the second largest in the world, Dohany Street

District 7 is a part of the city with a lot of cafés, bars, young people and artists. Great interior has the Café Konyha, Madách Imre út 8. We picked a cappuccino and bagel with jam and peanut butter. Sitting in the first floor and watching the street life was such a good thing!

The reason why we decided to go to Budapest was the Sziget festival. It was the best desicion I could make that summer. Florence and the Machine, Sellah Sue, Cro. Great atmosphere, yoga classes, lights everywhere. We enjoyed this festival and are going again next year. www.szigetfestival.com. The island of freedom.

 Café Konyha.

Great view from Citadela.

Budapest, august 2015. A five days trip with my friend Anna. Great weather, great city and Sziget festival. Great memories.
